The £15m investment will increase grading and packing capacity by at least 60%, whilst significantly adding to the automation of the site. The state of the art machinery includes two faster and higher capacity grading

machines, including loading and packing robotics. This will enhance both the start and end of line automation and efficiency. We will also be incorporating an automated in-line tray and pallet wash.

The investment is driven by the need to continue to drive efficiencies across the business. This is particularly important with tightening of labour availability in the agriculture sector and creates the foundations to grow our business in an extremely competitive marketplace.

Following approval by North Kesteven District Council to expand our floor space by 929m2, the development has now commenced in earnest and will be completed in four phases over an 12 month period. The Project Team will minimise any disruption to colleagues and operations throughout the build.
