Transport & Production Supervisor

You will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the transport fleet, ensuring the Drivers are managed and plan the day to day transport.  This will include the uplift of raw materials, assisting with general office duties along with supporting the Site Operations Manager in the general running of the production site.  This will also include training the team.

Responsible for: –

  • Fleet maintenance and safety, driver supervision and ensuring the daily transport schedules run smoothly.
  • Receipt, processing and communication of all orders.
  • ensuring compliance with specific requirements.
  • Providing the Site Operations Manager with regular updates on vehicle and driver performance along with information on maintenance and running costs.
  • Assisting with personal and training including training of new recruits and staff allocation.
  • Responsible for specific areas of Health and Safety and Environmental on site.
  • Support production Management where needed

You:

For this role, we are looking for someone with previous transport and production experience in the food sector to include:-

  • Transport legislation
  • Understanding of the production industry
  • The ability to organise and communicate effectively
  • Testing designed to assess competency

Maintenance Fitter

This role will report to the Site Manager, and you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of machinery, carrying out checks and reacting to breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Also managing a preventative maintenance programme, including the ordering and re-stocking of spares. This a hands-on position working with a range of mechanical equipment and will need to have experience of working within a manufacturing environment

Role Responsibilities:

Warehouse Manager

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will help to improve processes and systems to increase standards and performance across Warehouse providing timely reporting on departmental performance.

Role responsibilities:

  • Managing stock control, stock accuracy and stock audits
  • Ensuring effective warehousing – inbound and outbound
  • Ensuring the Health & Safety of staff always
  • Maintaining business systems and processes

You:-

For this role we are looking for someone with previous management experience in a warehousing environment, good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and an understanding of Logistics operations,

  • Experienced leader of people, adept at motivating and managing a team
  • Able to challenge accepted norms and enjoy creating new solutions with a hands-on approach to problem solving

As a Production Operative, you`ll work in a cutting-edge packing centre where you`ll help us get thousands of eggs (or other foods) to customers nationwide. Where you come in as a Production Operative… This part of the factory is where you will be packing the eggs carefully into boxes to be shipped off to their destination. They travel down the conveyor belt already in the cartons. You would be checking on the produce. The packaging is created as you go, making this a fast pace role. Once the eggs are boxed they will be collected and taken to the next step within the warehouse. Fast paced environment.

Physical: The production process requires manual handling to an estimated maximum of 16 kilos. The bedend process requires repetitive bending. Several areas require the use of manual pallet trucks. The jobholder should have a reasonable level of fitness and should report any conditions that may be aggravated by the required activities.

Requirements: Driver with own vehicle – (non drivers to be located within a 5 mile radius) Team Oriented and a great work drive.
