Noble Foods has instigated the ‘The Green Scheme’ which encompasses all aspects of the environment such as, Waste, Energy, Packaging and Water use. It is driven by Divisional Green Champions and Site Green Teams. Audit training has been given to the Green Champions from each division to ensure that environmental standards are consistently met. It is through the Green Scheme that ISO 14001 accreditation has been successfully achieved across the group.

Awards

We continue to lead the sector by implementing the internationally recognised Environmental Management System ISO14001. This system is recognised by global companies and by the Environment Agency as a proven control system for preventing emissions.

Noble have been short listed for the Environment & Energy Awards and by BCE for Leadership Awards in Cultural Change. We have also recently been awarded the Bronze Award for Recycling by the National Recycling Stars Scheme.

We will continue to explore initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint to benefit the Agri-Food sector, our customers and suppliers.
